How to Download a Threads Profile Picture

Threads shows profile pictures small and crops them into a circle. If you want to see an avatar at full size — to confirm an account is real, or just to view it clearly — here’s the simplest approach.

A note on saving images

Profile pictures belong to their owners. It’s fine to view a public avatar, but don’t reuse someone’s photo in a way that implies they endorse you, and never use one to impersonate an account. When in doubt, link to the original profile instead of copying the image.
