Stop overthinking your decisions... "Gary, what if I make the wrong decision... what if they say no... what if I waste time... what if I fail..." It's driving you crazy. Focus on a deep breathe and a little more joy instead of stressing about many things you have no control over anyway. Doesn’t mean be aloof, it just means you need to relax a little more. It will actually help you solve shit.

You haven’t popped yet ….thats all. Spoke to a kid last night at an event and he really deeply believed at 24 years old he missed his moment and opportunity.. Comparison … and even worse.. comparison to the .000001% … he referenced 3-5 people who are creating outrageous outcomes at a young age .. yet he was unable to see the room he was in, the things he’s already created … my friends Comparison Envy Jealousy Are all indicators of insecurity.. you aren’t comfortable in your own skin yet … you aren’t grateful enough to see you blessing … my friends you are just a kernel … that hasn’t even popped yet .. let alone had butter and salt poured on …

Two things matter at once: putting your people in position to succeed AND creating paths to stretch them. When I give new employees new tasks, I don't necessarily need them to be great at them. I want to create opportunities for them for career growth AND get context on their ability. But they don't lose when they fail at new tasks. Sometimes, I'll go back to the same person and give them a second, third or even fourth bite at that apple...Employees, a great boss should be OK if you fail at

them to mitigate that disaster is literally a conversation.

The place where you get the disproportionate highest ROI is when you listen to your employees. If you have an employee that is actually seriously important to your business and you do not have an understanding of what drives them, you need to have a 2.5-hour dinner and create that glue. One of the biggest things I see in businesses and entrepreneurs failing is the over-reliance on an employee that leaves, and then they have to start all over for 18 months. The thing that could have allowed

work 9AM to 3PM four days a week. There are people that work 7AM to 10PM seven days a week, and everything in between. There are ways to do it well, and there are ways to not do it well. The question becomes: Who are YOU?

“Gary, what’s your morning routine?” People ask me that as if that morning routine would work for them. I wake up and look at my phone immediately because I have a global company and I’m worried that Singapore had a fire the night before... I have responsibilities.
