Looks like this is going to be a week of Apple press releases, starting today with the new OLED iPad Mini - 8.5" OLED display - A20 Pro chip - "Acoustic display" instead of speaker grilles - IP67 rating - N1 and C2 chips - Starting at $699 (+$200 from last gen) My take: WAY better screen, WAY better chip, so a very welcome refresh. Very curious to try this invisible audio system. But then also I can't find any mention of 120Hz or ProMotion on the website, so.... 60Hz? ☠️

Been using the M5 Ultra Mac Studio for the past week and predictably it is the most powerful computer I've ever used. At this point, the improvements are not even targeted at me (a video creator) anymore. They're targeted at being the best machines for local AI work. There's nothing I can make Final Cut do with 256GB of unified memory that it couldn't do with 128GB So I'm also happy to report you do not need to spend the $10K+ that this Mac costs. But if you do? It absolutely rips.
