Stop overthinking your decisions... "Gary, what if I make the wrong decision... what if they say no... what if I waste time... what if I fail..." It's driving you crazy. Focus on a deep breathe and a little more joy instead of stressing about many things you have no control over anyway. Doesn’t mean be aloof, it just means you need to relax a little more. It will actually help you solve shit.

Two things matter at once: putting your people in position to succeed AND creating paths to stretch them. When I give new employees new tasks, I don't necessarily need them to be great at them. I want to create opportunities for them for career growth AND get context on their ability. But they don't lose when they fail at new tasks. Sometimes, I'll go back to the same person and give them a second, third or even fourth bite at that apple...Employees, a great boss should be OK if you fail at
